"We visited during happy hour and tried a variety of dishes, all of which were fantastic. The Hazy IPAs were a hit with everyone. My personal favorites were the sweet potato fries and the Brussels sprouts--both were delicious. A special shoutout to Anthony, our server, who was incredibly sweet and courteous. The service was quick, and the ambiance was perfect. We'll definitely be back!"

Met up with some friends for a quick happy hour catch up! It was a short visit so we went with chicken wings, Brussel sprouts, and fries! Food and drinks came out quickly and tasted great. A very casual atmosphere and laid back vibe. I need to come back to try more of their menu options. I'm still thinking about the Brussel sprouts ---Crispy, fresh cilantro, and roasted peanuts! Yummy!!

Hung out during the Eagles game and enjoyed a flight. The bartender was super fun and offered some good suggestions beer wise. We also enjoyed some fries with their beer cheese, would definitely go for those again! Great Sunday afternoon!

We loved the vibe, service was great. We had the happy hour special (3-6 pm ) Brussel sprouts appetizer. Sweet & tangy. (I normally hate Brussels!) The beers were $2.00 off pints. Had the milk stout. Smooth no bitterness. The Reuben was yummy! The 3 meat special tasted wonderful. Had the chai bread pudding desert. 2 very small molded bread cakes, tiny scoop of ice cream. Tasted okay. Prices were reasonable. Portions were satisfactory. Would go back again if visiting Sparks.

Oh man, few places succeed in giving me and my wife the experience we get when we come to Great Basin in Sparks. I know I have already reviewed this place, but I had to update my review for Anthony, one of the best servers out there. Everyone smiles when he comes to the table, and he really takes the time to talk to you and make you feel like you are part of the GBB family. Cheers to you Anthony! Can't wait to see you again!

Sorry no pictures. My first time here. We ordered fish and Mac and cheese. Both were good. We're just talking so much I forgot to take pics. It was very quiet on a Tuesday a little after 5. But it's 6:30 and the place is jam packed. I have company and we are taking up the only table so we're leaving to free up space. This is a fun place. I'll enjoy coming back.

I've been going to the Great Basin since it open and I was sad when Tom Young sold it! I was especially sad when the menu changed and the Bread Pudding went away. One thing I can say " the beer is always good". My husband takes me out to lunch once a week and it was my pick yesterday! I chose the Great Basin and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the my favorite the jalapeño crusted chicken salad with no tomatoes and my chicken cubed. It was absolutely perfect. Maybe a little bit more dressing, but I couldn't have been happier! The service was impeccable by Jacob. I think the owners are turning the place around for the better and can't wait to go back!

I am a big fan of their outdoor, dog friendly seating at this location. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes we get a very attentive waiter/ waitress and sometimes we don't. The last time we came our order was wrong, but we didn't see the waiter until he brought out our check. Not a big deal, but just not what we ordered. The reasons we come back is for their smoked Memphis dry rub wings and beers are always on point. They also offer a 10% Veterans discount which is nice as well.
